He is also the founder of Firefly Sound Labs, a trusted company in live sound, post-production, and consulting, and the creator of SRV Theory, a platform dedicated to exploring the guitar style and legacy of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
For nearly two decades, Alan has been at the forefront of the music and production industry, offering his expertise in live and studio mixing, front-of-house engineering, and technical production. His work has influenced countless churches, worship teams, and independent artists, refining their sound and enhancing their production capabilities.
Alan’s deep passion for authentic Texas blues guitar led him to create SRV Theory, a YouTube channel and learning platform that breaks down the technique, tone, and artistry of Stevie Ray Vaughan. In 2024, Alan expanded his expertise into production consulting, working directly with churches, AV teams, and musicians to optimize their audio workflows, technical infrastructure, and live sound production. His hands-on, no-nonsense approach ensures that churches and artists achieve professional-level sound, even with limited resources.
Beyond mixing and consulting, Alan is a seasoned worship musician and live performer, bringing over 20 years of experience in live shows, studio work, and worship leadership.
